Of the 33 countries presented in this table, none had gains in their index for 1 day, month-to-date, 3-months, year-to-date, or 1 year. Fewer than 1/2 had gains for 3 years. Most had gains for 5 and 10 years.

IMF Country Economic Growth Projections:
The IMF is predicting world growth in 2009 to 3% (down from 3.9% projected in July), which is about 40% down down from the 2007 estimate of 5.2% reported in the CIA Factbook.
The IMF cut 2009 projections for India from 8% to 6.9%, versus growth of 9.3% in 2007.
They cut China’s projected growth for 2009 to 9.3%, versus 11.9% in 2007.
They predict 0.1% growth for the US economy, and 0.2% for the EuroZone in 2009.
